Film producer and director Prabir Roy attends DRISHTI!

The renowned film producer and director Prabir Roy attended a program on 17th December organized by an association named Drishti on World Handicapped Day which is celebrated every year on December, 3rd. 

Prabir Roy is an eminent name in the film industry. He has the distinction of introducing colour T.V. coverage in India in Feb-March, 1982 during the 1st Neheru Gold Cup. He has won millions of hearts through his notable work in films like Jete Nahi Dibo, Agnimanthan and television serials such as Grihadaha, Bichitra Tadanta and many more. 

On 3rd December 2023, he was invited at an event named Drishti where several specially abled people delivered mesmerizing performances in Behala, Janakalyan. 

Later Prabir Roy posted some clips and pictures of this event on his Facebook account and expressed his utmost pleasure in attending the event and how delighted he was by the amazing performances. He added that " I don't agree with the fact that they are handicapped, how can people who delivered such beautiful performances be handicapped ". He further extended his thanks to social worker Panna Lal Ghosh and Mr. Somnath Paanir for inviting him there.
