GOAT Box Office Collection Day 2: Film Witnesses Dip in Earnings

The highly anticipated action film GOAT, produced by AGS Entertainment and directed by Venkat Prabhu, saw a decline in its box office numbers on its second day of release in India. According to early estimates from Sacnilk.com, the film, which stars Vijay in the lead role, earned approximately ₹24.75 crore nett across all languages on Friday.

Breaking down the numbers, GOAT garnered around ₹22 crore from the Tamil version, ₹1.5 crore from the Hindi version, and ₹1.25 crore from the Telugu version. This brings its total two-day earnings in India to ₹68.75 crore, with ₹61.15 crore from Tamil, ₹3.35 crore from Hindi, and ₹4.25 crore from Telugu.

On its opening day, GOAT had earned ₹44 crore (Tamil: ₹39.15 crore; Hindi: ₹1.85 crore; Telugu: ₹3 crore), but Friday's earnings marked a notable dip. The film maintained an overall Tamil occupancy rate of 60.38% on its second day.

GOAT is set in a period science fiction context and features an ensemble cast that includes Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Sneha, Ajmal Ameer, Vaibhav, Laila, Mohan, Aravind Akash, Ajay Raj, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Yogi Babu, Premgi Amaren, Yugendran, and VTV Ganesh.

Vijay's portrayal of a field agent and spy in the film's trailer has left fans excited.
