OG Box Office Collection Day 3: Pawan Kalyan and Emraan Hashmi Starrer Maintains Strong Hold
Sujeeth’s much-anticipated action drama They Call Him OG, starring Pawan Kalyan, Emraan Hashmi, and Priyanka Mohan in lead roles, continues its impressive run at the box office. Despite a noticeable dip on its second day, the film has maintained steady collections through its opening weekend.

The film witnessed a grand start with a historic opening. "According to the trade website, OG made an estimated ₹18.75 crore net in India on Saturday, taking its total collection so far to ₹122 crore. The film collected ₹21 crore from premieres alone when tickets were priced at ₹1000 in Andhra Pradesh and ₹800 in Telangana, with other regions seeing hikes too. On Friday, its opening day, it made ₹63.75 crore net."
Following its record-breaking start, the Pawan Kalyan starrer faced a sharp decline in collections. "Come Friday, it saw a 70% dip, making ₹18.75 crore in India, collectively making ₹171 crore worldwide in two days and premieres. A majority of this money has come from Telugu, with Tamil, Kannada and Hindi collecting moderately. OG registered a 42.08% occupancy in Telugu on Saturday, and it remains to be seen how much it collects by its first weekend."
Directed by Sujeeth and backed by producers DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under DVV Entertainment, They Call Him OG boasts a stellar ensemble. Apart from Pawan Kalyan and Emraan Hashmi, the cast includes Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, and Prakash Raj, with music composed by Thaman S.
The storyline follows Ojas Gambheera (played by Pawan Kalyan), a feared former gangster who is drawn back into the underworld due to unforeseen circumstances. Emraan Hashmi, making his Telugu cinema debut, portrays the antagonist Omi Bhau.
While OG has received mixed reviews from critics, audiences have thronged theatres, ensuring its strong box office performance. The film has already emerged as Pawan Kalyan’s highest-grossing project, and industry experts are keenly watching how it fares in the coming days.
