Saiyaara Crosses ₹100 Crore Mark in Just Four Days, Emerges as a Massive Blockbuster

Mohit Suri’s latest romantic musical Saiyaara is taking the box office by storm. Starring debutant Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in lead roles, the film has received an overwhelming response from audiences across the country. Ever since its theatrical release on Friday, July 18, Saiyaara has been creating waves in the entertainment industry.

With celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, and Karan Johar showering praise, and fans on social media celebrating its music and storytelling, the film's momentum shows no signs of slowing down. The youth-driven love story is clearly resonating with viewers.

According to the latest data from Sacnilk, Saiyaara earned ₹18.57 crore on its fourth day, Monday, bringing its total box office collection to ₹101.82 crore. The film opened with ₹21.5 crore on Friday, followed by an impressive ₹26 crore on Saturday and a whopping ₹35.75 crore on Sunday.

“Saiyaara flies past 100 crore with ease,” noted Sacnilk’s update, as the film continues to attract audiences even on weekdays, a feat usually reserved for films with big-name stars.

With no major releases lined up this week, trade experts expect the film to maintain its stronghold at the box office. The film has already outperformed the India net collection of Kesari Chapter 2 (₹92.53 crore), and now has its sights set on surpassing Sikandar starring Salman Khan, which stands at ₹110.1 crore.

The story of Saiyaara follows Krish Kapoor (played by Ahaan Panday), an aspiring musician, and Vaani Batra (Aneet Padda), a reserved writer. Their tender romance takes an unexpected turn, making for an emotionally charged narrative that has struck a chord with viewers. The chemistry between the leads, along with the soulful soundtrack, has earned the film high praise.

“For many, star power became the be-all and end-all – and the neglect in writing and music was clearly visible. A young love story, driven by great music and heartfelt emotions, will always find its audience. I’m thrilled that #Saiyaara has struck gold... What’s even more heartening is that #YRF has backed this gem... #YRF, a banner synonymous with love stories, now has another massive blockbuster in its catalogue – a love story, once again... But this time, it stars two rank newcomers and is helmed by the supremely talented Mohit Suri,” tweeted renowned trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

Produced by Yash Raj Films, Saiyaara is being hailed as a refreshing reminder that strong storytelling, sincere performances, and memorable music can still drive a film to phenomenal success—even without an established star cast.
