Spects or a key to future - Duo of Mithun-Deboshree makes a comeback with Nishpal Singh and Sohom's joint production

After a long time the enthralling duo of Mithun-Deboshree are coming together for Sohom and Nishpal Singh's joint production of 'Shastri'. 

'Shastri' will tell a story of a family man named Parimal, whose only problem is his addiction to lottery, which he never wins. Parimal's this addiction slowly stirs financial troubles for the family. It's time for his son's college admission and his wife wants to sell their house for it, to which Parimal totally disagrees. 

Feeling helpless and upset he goes to a temple and decides that he will end his life. But exactly then a spects changes his life. It isn't an usual spects but one, that after wearing shows future, and this becomes the turning point of Parimal's life. Mithun Chakraborty will be seen in the role of Parimal. 

'Shastri' will be starred by Mithun Chakraborty, Deboshree Roy, Sauraseni Maitra, Anirban Chakraborty, Rajatava Dutta. Kanchan Mallik and Saswata Chatterjee will also be seen in the film, in the direction of Pathikrit Basu. It's a joint venture from the house of Surinder Films and Soham's Entertainment And Creative Solutions.
