Yash Confirms KGF 3 Is On the Horizon, Promises It Will Be ‘Massive’

Fans of the KGF franchise will be thrilled to hear that a third installment is indeed in the works. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Yash, the lead star of the KGF series, discussed his potential return as the iconic character Rocky Bhai in KGF 3. Yash confirmed that the project is not only on the radar but that there is already a concept being discussed with director Prasanth Neel.

"KGF 3 will happen for sure, I promise," Yash stated during the interview. However, he made it clear that his current focus is on his upcoming projects, Toxic and Ramayana. "We keep talking about it, we have an idea… once it is the right time… it is massive so that is also something that really needs all our attention and focus."

The actor further emphasized that they are not looking to capitalize on the success of the previous films without putting in the necessary effort. "We really do not want to cash on anything because the audience has given us enough, so we are going to do it in a way that they will be proud of," Yash explained. "It is a cult. They have accepted that character at such a level. Me and Prasanth [Neel] keep discussing; we will come up with something massive this time."

The confirmation of KGF 3 comes after the post-credits scene in KGF: Chapter 2, which hinted at another chapter in the franchise. Yash's portrayal of Rocky Bhai in KGF Chapter 1 and KGF Chapter 2 captivated audiences across India, with the second film breaking box office records and achieving widespread acclaim beyond the Kannada-speaking regions.

Fans of the action-packed saga can look forward to KGF 3 being a worthy continuation of the story, although they may have to wait a bit longer as Yash focuses on his current slate of projects. Nonetheless, his words promise something monumental when KGF 3 finally arrives.
