Allu Arjun Discusses Historic National Award Win and Upcoming Projects on Unstoppable With NBK

Actor Allu Arjun is set to appear on the popular Telugu talk show Unstoppable With NBK, hosted by Nandamuri Balakrishna. The show, which airs on the streaming platform Aha, recently released a promotional clip for the upcoming episode featuring Arjun, where he discussed his recent achievement of winning the National Award for Best Actor.

Arjun made history earlier this year by becoming the first Telugu actor to receive the prestigious Best Actor award, which he earned for his portrayal of Pushpa Raj in Sukumar’s 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise. In the promo for Unstoppable With NBK season 4, Balakrishna asked Arjun how he felt upon receiving the news. The actor shared, “Best Actor kinda National Award evariki vachindi ani check cheste, okka Telugu peru kuda ledu. Adi naa manusu lo baa undipoindi. Idi nenu round-up chesi, deeni kottali.” Translated, Arjun expressed that he checked the list of Best Actor National Award recipients and noticed no Telugu actor had ever won. "It hurt me to see that. I decided then to achieve it,” he added.

Later in the episode, Arjun's mother, Nirmala Allu, joined him on stage, offering viewers some personal insights into her son's life. During a segment, Arjun spoke about his stance on social issues, mentioning that injustice against women is something he finds particularly intolerable.

Unstoppable With NBK has featured several high-profile guests this season, including Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, actor Dulquer Salmaan, Meenakshi Chaudhary, producer Naga Vamsi, and Bollywood actors Suriya and Bobby Deol. Arjun's episode is scheduled to premiere on November 15.

In addition to his talk show appearance, Arjun will soon be seen reprising his role as Pushpa Raj in Pushpa 2: The Rule, the much-anticipated sequel to Pushpa: The Rise. Set for a theatrical release on December 5, the sequel will continue the story of Pushpa's ascent in the high-stakes world of red sanders smuggling. Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil will also return, reprising their roles as Srivalli and Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, respectively.
