Baaghi 4 Box Office Collection Day 1: Tiger Shroff’s Action Thriller Opens at ₹12 Crore

Tiger Shroff’s much-awaited action drama Baaghi 4, directed by A Harsha, hit theatres on Friday with a comparatively lower buzz than its predecessors. The film features a stellar cast including Sanjay Dutt, Harnaaz Sandhu, Sonam Bajwa, Shreyas Talpade, Saurabh Sachdeva, and Upendra Limaye, and has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

"As per the latest update on Sacnilk, the film has opened to above ₹10 crore, thereby not able to match the opening day numbers of Baaghi 3. The report states that Baaghi 4 collected ₹12 crore on its first day of release."

The film’s day 1 collection is lower compared to the earlier films of the franchise. While Baaghi 3 earned ₹17.5 crore on its opening day, Baaghi 2 had registered an impressive ₹25.10 crore, and the first Baaghi had minted ₹11.85 crore.

"It will be interesting to see whether Baaghi 4 can pick up pace in the next two days of the weekend and show growth." The movie faces stiff competition from multiple releases, including last week’s Param Sundari, the Hindi-dubbed Lokah Chapter 1, and this week’s fresh release The Bengal Files.

According to reports, Baaghi 4 recorded an overall 25.35% Hindi occupancy on Friday, signaling a moderate start.

Critics, however, have been divided in their response. An excerpt from the Hindustan Times review of the film read, “Then comes the second half. Sanjay Dutt enters as the antagonist Chacko, and one wonders if someone swapped reels. The pace dips drastically. Believability, suspense, logic—everything goes out the window like one of the many henchmen Tiger tosses around. There is a track about lookalikes, Beauty and the Beast, and gallons of blood for no reason, and it all amounts to laughter at the wrong places.”

With Tiger Shroff returning to his action-packed avatar, fans will be eager to see if Baaghi 4 manages to gain momentum over the weekend and sustain at the box office despite the competition.
