‘Chhaava’ Continues Its Dominance at the Box Office, Nears One-Month Mark with Impressive Numbers

Bollywood's historical drama Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal, has been making waves since its release. The film, directed by Laxman Utekar, has consistently performed well at the box office, opening with a strong start, delivering a record-breaking first week, and maintaining momentum in the second. Despite witnessing a drop in the third week, Chhaava continues its successful run.

As of its 27th day in theaters, the film is nearing the completion of its fourth week. According to a report by Sacnilk, the movie has recorded an early estimated earnings of ₹4.75 crore from its Hindi and Telugu versions, bringing its total box office collection to an impressive ₹535.55 crore.

The film, which is based on a book of the same name, has seen a slowdown in its fourth week. However, it benefitted from the Women’s Day holiday, witnessing a remarkable surge of over 90 percent on its fourth Saturday. “On its 4th Saturday, with a growth of more than 90 percent, it made ₹16.75 crores; of which ₹13.5 crore came from Hindi and ₹3.25 crore from Telugu release.” Following this surge, the film has experienced steady but slower growth. Nevertheless, as it nears the one-month mark, the numbers remain strong.

With the upcoming Holi festival and weekend, the film is expected to gain another boost in collections.
