"Babli's" teaser releases on the day of Poila Boishakh : Release date gets announced

The teaser of Raj Chakraborty's upcoming film "Babli's" teaser was released on Sunday, which was also Poila Boishakh (Bengali New Year), as a gift from director Raj Chakraborty. Currently, Babli's teaser is already a hit.

Finally, on Poila Boishakh, the teaser of Raj Chakraborty's much awaited film, "Babli," was released. Since the announcement, this film, based on a novel by Buddhadeb Guha, has been driving audiences crazy. Even before its release, the poster had gone viral within moments of being unveiled. The same frenzy surrounds the teaser. Along with the teaser, the release date of the movie was also announced.

In the movie, Shubhashree Ganguly portrays the character of Babli, while Abir Chatterjee plays the character named Abhi. Babli is a little healthy and plump, and she is very concerned about it, which leads to several inner conflicts. On the other hand, Abhi has a charming face and excels in everything from badminton to sports. This Abhi-Babli pair seems to click well, but their love story isn't as straightforward. Before they can express their feelings, they drift apart.

Then enters a girl named Jhuma into Abhi's life. When Babli considers returning to Abhi, it raises questions about Jhuma and Abhi's relationship. 

The trailer features several intense scenes between Abhi-Babli, portrayed by Abir-Shubhashree, which are undoubtedly tailored to match the demands of the novel. In those scenes, the two actors exhibit remarkable chemistry. The teaser ends, leaving viewers eagerly awaiting for August 30, 2024, as, it is set to be the release date for Babli.
