Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Faces Mixed Reactions Following OTT Release

After a successful run at the box office, Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has finally premiered on Netflix, sparking a wave of mixed reactions from fans and critics alike. The highly anticipated sequel not only brought back Aaryan as the fan-favorite Rooh Baba but also introduced Vidya Balan reprising her iconic role of Manjulika, alongside Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri in pivotal roles.

The film garnered significant attention during its theatrical release, partly because it clashed with Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn's Singham Again, another big-ticket Bollywood franchise. Fans were eager to see how the horror-comedy stacked up against the action-packed cop drama.

On its OTT debut, many fans showered the film with praise. One social media user raved, “The entry of Rooh Baba, That HARE RAM HARE RAM, and some iconic places of Kolkata, ufffff... The visuals, the chosen locations were so good... nd #KartikAaryan your sweet speaking Bengali was the cherry on the top @TheAaryanKartik  #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 is streaming only on Netflix.” Another fan tweeted, “#BhoolBhulaiyaa3 A solid twist elevates this entertainer @TheAaryanKartik show all the way @vidya_balan & @MadhuriDixit are absolute scene stealers & stunners @BazmeeAnees is structured more as a comedy with elements of horror #BhoolBhulaiyaa3OnNetflix @tripti_dimri23 .”

However, not everyone was impressed. Some viewers found the film underwhelming and took to social media to express their disappointment. A critical post read, “#BhoolBhulaiyaa3OnNetflix:  Don't forget to keep ur brain in the fridge while watching Reincarnated ‘Shehzada.’ Like many said #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 is eerily similar to the Tollywood film - Om Bheem Bush.” Another viewer remarked, “Just finished watching #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 on Netflix. Average movie imo. Good one-time watch, but has nothing which can make anyone watch it again. Tripti Dimri has to be the most useless thing in the movie. I hope they don’t continue the franchise anymore.”

Despite the divided opinions, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 remains a topic of conversation among cinephiles, cementing its place as one of the year's most talked-about Bollywood releases. Whether loved or critiqued, the film has undoubtedly made its mark.
