"I was all decked up in my wedding dress, but my groom didn't show up" - Debolina Dutta

The relationship between Debolina Dutta and Tathagata Mukherjee has been in the news since last year. They got married in 2014 in a grand ceremony. They were known as a power couple in the industry at one time. However, they separated in 2021. At that time, they publicly criticized each other, which surprised everyone.

But do you know, that before her marriage with Tathagata, her marriage was fixed with someone else and that relationship lasted until the wedding day. Debolina had dressed up as a bride. However, as the afternoon turned into evening, everyone came, but the groom didn't show up, leaving everyone waiting, including the priest.

Debolina compared this incident with "Queen" on the chat show "Apur Sansar". Even the day before the wedding, Debolina's groom told her, "We'll have a lot of fun on our basar raat. Tell all your brothers and sisters to be there!" Then on the wedding day, from morning, the groom's phone was off. The whole family's phones were off. He never showed up for the wedding! The next day, it was found out that he had a heart attack. He was admitted to a hospital. But when Debolina went to see him, she realized it was all staged. He didn't want to marry Debolina and hence, staged all of it. Debolina didn't want to reveal the identity of that person on the show.

Debolina said, "But I am grateful to that person because if that drama hadn't happened that day, I wouldn't have found Tathagata."
