Game of Thrones: It will come as a series rather than a trilogy, the next installment in the Game of Thrones saga, tentatively titled "The Hedge Knight," is slated for release
Game of Thrones: The next installment in the Game of Thrones series, "The Hedge Knight," is coming in 2025. Additionally, it is known that David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are planning a trilogy for Game of Thrones.
For a long time, the release of the next installment in the Game of Thrones series, "The Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight," was delayed due to a strike by Hollywood writers. Finally, the release date for the next installment in this series has been announced. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros, Discovery CEO David Zaslav revealed the name of the next installment in the Game of Thrones series as "The Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight."
He mentioned, "Producer and executive producer George R.R. Martin is currently busy with the pre-production of this film. It will be released towards the end of 2025."
It was previously heard that the last installment of Game of Thrones may not come as a series but rather be released as a trilogy on the big screen. The producers had decided to adapt the remaining thirteen chapters into three films. However, things didn't go as planned, so the producers have canceled the plan for this trilogy.
In 2020, Martin had announced that the remaining 13 chapters would be brought to the cinema as three movies. This fantastic trilogy would conclude Game of Thrones. However, bringing the film to the big screen was not favored by network executives. Therefore, that plan has been scrapped. Instead, at the end of next year, the next installment of the Game of Thrones series, "The Hedge Knight," will be released.
