Samsung Galaxy Ring Set to Launch in India with Pre-Reservation Offers

Samsung recently announced the Galaxy Ring at the Galaxy Unpacked event held in Paris, where the tech giant also unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 foldable smartphones. The Galaxy Smart Ring, Samsung's first entry into the smart ring market, is set to be available globally in three finishes and nine sizes. In India, pre-reservation for the Galaxy Smart Ring has commenced, with the wearable expected to hit the shelves soon.

“The Samsung Galaxy Ring is available for pre-preservation in India at a refundable token amount of Rs. 1,999.” Customers can secure their pre-reservations through the Samsung India website and popular e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart. According to a press release from the company, those who pre-reserve the ring can take advantage of several attractive offers.

“Benefits of pre-reserving the Samsung Galaxy Ring in India include a complimentary Wireless Charger Duo worth Rs. 4,999 and no subscription fee.” In addition to these perks, customers will receive the ring along with a charging case and data cable. Users who opt to reserve through the Samsung Shop app can also obtain a welcome voucher worth up to Rs. 5,000.

The pre-reservation period is open until October 15, indicating that the Galaxy Ring is likely to be available for purchase in India starting October 16 or later. While the final pricing for the Samsung Galaxy Ring in India has yet to be disclosed, it is priced at $399 (approximately Rs. 34,000) in select global markets. The device will be offered in Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold finishes.

“The Galaxy Ring will be offered in India in sizes 5 to 13, the same as the global variant, according to the company.” Samsung will also provide a sizing kit to help customers determine the best fit for their ring.

The Galaxy Ring boasts a titanium construction, a 10ATM rating, and an IP68 rating, ensuring durability and water resistance. The smallest size 5 option weighs just 2.3g and measures 7mm in width. Samsung claims that the smart ring can deliver up to seven days of battery life on a single charge.

Notably, the Indian version of the Samsung Galaxy Ring will feature Health AI capabilities, enabling users to monitor their energy levels, sleep stages, physical activity, heart rate, stress levels, and more. It will also support gesture controls and integrate with Samsung's SmartThings Find feature, further enhancing its functionality for users.
