Aditi Sharma Responds to Husband Abhineet Kaushik’s Allegations Amid Separation

Television actor Aditi Sharma has addressed the allegations made by her estranged husband, Abhineet Kaushik, stating that she faced "misbehavior and abuse" in the marriage. The couple, who are currently undergoing separation, have made conflicting claims, with Abhineet accusing Aditi of cheating and domestic abuse. However, Aditi has firmly denied these allegations, asserting that she was not the one responsible for any form of abuse.

In an interview with India Forums, Aditi shared her side of the story but refrained from revealing specific details, as the case is currently sub judice. She stated, "Right after a month of getting married, I was facing unbearable marital disputes. I was facing a lot of misbehavior and other things which I cannot disclose right now because that is going to go ahead in the court… that is why I sought separation, and I wanted it very peacefully. Both families talked and decided that we should separate amicably. He has disrespected me and my family in front of our friends multiple times. I have never disrespected his family. I am bound by my lawyers not to speak about this. But, domestic abuse was not from my side. I can just say this much. I genuinely loved him. I am going to speak the truth and not hide anything."

Aditi also responded to claims suggesting that she had kept their marriage a secret. Clarifying the matter, she explained, "Yes, it was a private ceremony, but it was not a secret marriage. My family, my close friends, my relatives knew about it. It was not a secret thing, but it was private. I have a decent career, and we thought it wouldn’t be wise to suddenly put it out in public right now as I was also shooting for Apollena at that time, and my character in the show was of an 18-year-old girl. So both of us decided to not disclose it publicly."

Abhineet, on the other hand, has alleged that Aditi was involved with a co-star from Apollena. His legal team has also claimed that Aditi’s family denied the legitimacy of the marriage, allegedly calling it a "mock trial" and demanding ₹25 lakh for separation.

Aditi Sharma has gained recognition for her performances in television shows such as Kaleerein, Rabb Se Hai Dua, and Apollena – Sapno Ki Unchi Udaan. While the legal proceedings between the estranged couple continue, both parties have maintained their respective positions, with Aditi insisting on speaking the truth and seeking an amicable resolution.
