Kesari Chapter 2, starring Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan, and Ananya Panday, continues its steady run at the box office. The historical courtroom drama, which portrays the real-life story of lawyer C Sankaran Nair, has received positive reviews and strong word-of-mouth support, resulting in an upward trend over its opening weekend.

According to the latest box office report by Sacnilk.com, "Kesari Chapter 2 showed a growth in numbers on its third day of release. The film collected ₹11.84 crore, as per early estimates. Its opening day collections stood at ₹7.75 crore, while the second day numbers showed a growth at ₹9.75 crore. Overall, the total collections now stand at ₹29.34 crore." Despite the impressive performance, the film's numbers still trail behind Akshay Kumar’s previous release, Sky Force, which had managed ₹27.50 crore on its third day and an overall weekend figure of ₹61.75 crore.

On Sunday, Kesari Chapter 2 recorded a Hindi occupancy rate of 26.94%, with morning shows witnessing 17.28% occupancy and afternoon shows seeing an increase to 36.60%.

Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the film is a collaboration between Dharma Productions, Leo Media Collective, and Cape of Good Films. It is based on the book The Case That Shook the Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat, and revolves around the aftermath of the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre.

In the film, Akshay Kumar portrays C Sankaran Nair, the lawyer who challenged the British Raj to reveal the truth behind the massacre. R Madhavan plays Advocate Neville McKinley, while Ananya Panday stars as Dilreet Gill, adding depth to the powerful narrative.

With strong performances and a compelling historical backdrop, Kesari Chapter 2 is expected to maintain its momentum in the coming days.
