Nia Sharma Celebrates Strong Sibling Bond with Brother Vinay Sharma on Bhai Dooj

This Bhai Dooj, television actor Nia Sharma reflects on her cherished bond with her brother, Vinay Sharma, and shares her plans for celebrating the occasion. Due to Vinay’s recent travel schedule, this year’s festivities will be virtual. Vinay, an IT professional based in Bengaluru, had visited Mumbai not long ago to celebrate Nia’s birthday in what she described as a “grand way.” She fondly shares, “He often surprises me with gifts; we don’t need an occasion to gift each other. We have a small ritual on Bhai Dooj, wherein teeka hota hai, and I give him one nariyal and lots of fruits.”

Nia also delves into the unique and evolving bond she shares with her brother. “I am four years younger than him, and growing up, we were two lunatics trying to kill each other. But then, life happened, and things were tough. He took care of me like a father and became the pillar of our family. He has made up for the years and the silly, stupid fights we used to have,” she remarks.

Calling their bond “super strong,” Nia explains how her brother has grown to be a source of emotional support for her as well. She observes, “Today, he is calmer and more emotionally vulnerable than me. In fact, over the last one year, he has had some health issues, and that has made me more loving towards him. I think I grew closer to him then. I get very emotional and protective about my brother. Thankfully, he’s doing great now.”

The bond between the two siblings is one of mutual respect, love, and support, strengthened through the challenges they’ve faced together. As they celebrate Bhai Dooj, albeit virtually, Nia and Vinay’s relationship stands as a heartwarming example of sibling strength and affection.
