Amazon Prime Video Hosts Star-Studded Screening of Citadel: Honey Bunny with Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan

Amazon Prime Video hosted a star-studded special screening for the Indian installment of the Citadel franchise, Citadel: Honey Bunny, in Mumbai on Monday evening. Leading actors Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan, along with the series creators Raj and DK (Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK), were present for the event.

Samantha, dressed in a striking shimmery silver dress paired with high block heels, made a fashion statement, her bright red hair adding a vivid contrast to her understated outfit. Varun Dhawan opted for a sleek look in a sharp black suit with straight pants and a relaxed-fit jacket. The duo posed for the paparazzi before heading into the screening.

Joining the premiere were notable industry figures, including Aditya Roy Kapur, Sidharth Roy Kapur, Adarsh Gourav, Neha Dhupia, Pragya Kapoor, Abhishek Kapoor, Darshan Kumar, Rasika Dugal, Anushka Sen, Kritika Kamra, Maniesh Paul, Sufyan Nadiadwala, Mahira Sharma, Mukesh Chhabra, Saiee Manjrekar, and Shahid Kapoor. Shahid, who starred in Raj and DK’s previous Amazon Prime Video series Farzi, was seen warmly embracing his close friend Arjun Kapoor as the two chatted on the blue carpet.

The series, titled Citadel: Honey Bunny, is directed by Raj and DK and written by Sita R. Menon. It introduces Samantha Ruth Prabhu as Honey, a former struggling actress recruited by Varun Dhawan’s character, Bunny, to become a spy. "The plot takes a thrilling turn when, years later, the two are reunited to protect their daughter, Nadia, from the dangerous enemies of their past." The role of Nadia is reprised by Priyanka Chopra, who appeared in the global Citadel series alongside Richard Madden.
