Previously, Wintour extended her culinary veto to parsley, citing concerns akin to those regarding onion, garlic, and chives. Furthermore, she eschews bruschetta from the menu, deeming it potentially messy and a threat to the pristine attire of celebrities. Additionally, a stringent prohibition on smoking is enforced at the Met Gala, aligning with contemporary health and etiquette standards.

Wintour meticulously curates the menu for the prestigious gala annually, ensuring a gastronomic experience befitting its esteemed guests.
