Accompanied by a collection of previously unseen photos and videos, Sonam conveyed her profound gratitude for the life they have crafted together, labeling their marriage as the finest choice she has ever made.

It's intriguing to imagine Sonam not being head-over-heels for her now-husband, but in a previous interview with Filmfare, the actress disclosed that she initially harbored no interest in marriage or relationships. It was only through the gentle prodding of her friends that she found herself on a date with Anand's best friend. "My friends were attempting to set me up with Anand's best friend. That's how I encountered him. The first encounter with Anand happened while I was engrossed in the promotions of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015). One evening, my friends tricked me into visiting a bar at the Taj. I arrived there quite annoyed," she shared.

Sonam revealed she had no inclination to meet Anand and his friends, being closed off to the idea of dating. "I recall thinking, 'I don't want to be involved with anyone. I don't buy into marriage and all this fuss.' Yet, when I saw Anand and his friend, despite his friend being tall like me, sharing my love for reading and Hindi movies, and being educated and pleasant, it was Anand whom I found myself engrossed in conversation with the entire evening," she reminisced.

Sonam tied the knot with her longtime beau Anand in a traditional wedding ceremony in Mumbai in 2018. The couple, along with their son Vayu, resides in a luxurious apartment in Notting Hill, London.
