Pushpa 2: The Rule Reloaded Version to Hit Theatres with Added Footage

The highly successful Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, continues to dominate the box office. Released in theatres on December 5, the Sukumar-directed blockbuster is set to return to cinemas with a reloaded version featuring 20 minutes of additional footage.
The announcement, made on Tuesday, has thrilled fans of the franchise. The makers of the film shared the update on social media, stating, “#Pushpa2TheRule RELOADED VERSION with 20 minutes of added footage will play in cinemas from 11th January.”
The film, which stars Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj, Rashmika Mandanna as his wife Srivalli, and Fahadh Faasil as the antagonist SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, has already achieved remarkable milestones. It has become the first dubbed Hindi version to surpass the ₹800 crore mark and has crossed ₹1,800 crore globally. The movie's songs, such as Peelings and Kissik, have also become chartbusters.
The ensemble cast includes Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rao Ramesh, Dhananjaya, and Ajay in pivotal roles. The film's success has set the stage for its next installment, Pushpa 3: The Rampage, which has already been announced.
However, the film's journey has not been without controversy. On December 4, during its premiere, a tragic stampede incident occurred, leading to the death of a 35-year-old woman named Revathi and injuring her eight-year-old son, Sri Teja. Lead actor Allu Arjun faced legal trouble following the incident, with his arrest on December 13. He was released on interim bail the next day, which was later extended.
On January 7, the actor visited KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad's Begumpet to meet Sri Teja, who was injured in the incident. As the reloaded version of Pushpa 2: The Rule prepares to hit theatres, the film's success continues to highlight its impact on audiences worldwide.
