Rumours Spark as Raj Nidimoru and Samantha Appear Together; Cryptic Note Shared by Director's Wife
Filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, one half of the acclaimed director duo Raj & DK, has found himself at the centre of speculation following a recent photo featuring him alongside actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The image, now circulating widely online, shows Samantha resting her head on Raj’s shoulder during a flight, fuelling rumours of a possible romantic relationship between the two.
While neither Raj nor Samantha has addressed the speculation publicly, the timing of their social media activity has drawn attention. On the same day the photo surfaced, Samantha took to Instagram to celebrate the launch of her debut production, Subham, under her new banner Tralala Moving Pictures. Sharing moments from the journey, she posted, "Thank you for watching, feeling and celebrating #SUBHAM with us! Our very first step—fuelled by heart, madness and the belief that new, fresh stories matter! We are @tralalamovingpictures. And with Subham, the journey has begun. What a start (sic)!"
Amidst the buzz, Raj's wife, Shhyamali De, shared a seemingly cryptic message on her Instagram Stories, which many interpreted as a subtle response to the unfolding rumours. Her message read, "I send blessings and love to everyone who thinks of me, sees me, hears me, hears of me, speaks to me, speaks of me, reads of me, writes of me and meets me today (sic)." The message has since garnered significant attention across social media.
Raj Nidimoru and Shhyamali De have been married for over a decade. De, a psychology graduate, has a background in filmmaking herself, having worked as an assistant director with notable names such as Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Vishal Bhardwaj. The couple also shares a daughter.
Earlier this month, Raj and Samantha were also seen visiting the Tirupati temple together, adding further fuel to the speculation.
As of now, no official statements have been made by any of the parties involved regarding the nature of Raj and Samantha’s relationship.
