Salman Khan Shoots for Sikandar at Hyderabad’s Falaknuma Palace Under Tightened Security Amid Fresh Threats

Salman Khan, currently shooting for his upcoming film Sikandar in Hyderabad, is stationed at the renowned Falaknuma Palace Hotel, where heightened security measures have been implemented in response to fresh threats against the actor. To ensure his safety, parts of the hotel have been cordoned off, granting access only to the film’s crew.

Following recent threats, including one allegedly sent by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Salman has been assigned a fortified four-tier security arrangement, designed to protect him on set. This comprehensive security setup includes NSG commandos and police personnel, bolstered by a team of 50 to 70 security members, as per sources.

According to Midday, "There are three standing sets, of which two are in the city, but the main location is the palace hotel. Even though they are shooting in one portion, the production team has secured access to the entire hotel and grounds, transforming it into a fortress. While guests can book their stay in the hotel, they have to undergo two levels of screenings, one by the hotel and the other by Salman’s security team. Access to the location is controlled—only those with prior permission can enter, following background and ID checks. The staff also undergo daily screenings, and there is a strict no-swapping policy,” a source explained.

A well-organized security setup surrounds the actor, including private security from ex-paramilitary personnel and a team hand-picked by his trusted bodyguard Shera. Additional cover has been provided by both the Hyderabad and Mumbai police departments. This extensive security arrangement underscores the gravity of the situation, following recent events.

Despite these challenges, Khan remains committed to his work and is currently filming several song sequences with actress Rashmika Mandanna. After wrapping up in Hyderabad, he is scheduled to head to Dubai for his Da-Bangg Reloaded show.

The recent threat, reportedly sent to the Mumbai Traffic Control Room around midnight, alluded to a songwriter’s work allegedly linking the actor to a notorious gang, igniting renewed security concerns. This marks the fifth such message directed at Khan in recent weeks, with the latest incident on November 5 threatening him to either apologize or pay a sum of ₹5 crore. The Mumbai Police continue to investigate these threats and are treating the situation with heightened seriousness.
