Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Link-Up Rumours with Raj Nidimoru Addressed by Her Team

Speculation surrounding actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s alleged growing closeness with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru has been making headlines recently. A new report suggested that the duo is planning to take their relationship to the next level by moving in together. However, these claims have now been addressed by Samantha's team, who have termed the reports as baseless.

According to Pinkvilla, a source close to the pair reportedly stated, “Samantha and Raj are considering moving in together and are scouting for properties. They have the intent to live together and are working in that direction.” This led to a surge in public curiosity regarding their relationship status.

In response to these reports, Samantha’s manager, in a statement to Hindustan Times, dismissed the claims and referred to them as mere “rumours.”

Earlier reports claimed that Raj Nidimoru had finalized his divorce from wife Shhyamali De in 2022. Following this, he was said to have found companionship in Samantha, especially after the two collaborated on the Indian spin-off of Citadel: Honey Bunny. Fuel was added to the fire when Samantha posted a series of pictures on Instagram related to her production debut, Subham. One of the pictures featured her standing next to Raj in front of a poster of the film, while another showed her leaning on his shoulder during a flight.

Raj Nidimoru was previously married to Shhyamali De, an assistant director known for her work with acclaimed filmmakers such as Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Vishal Bhardwaj.

Samantha, who was earlier married to actor Naga Chaitanya, parted ways with him after four years of marriage. Naga Chaitanya has since married actress Sobhita Dhulipala.

Professionally, Samantha and Raj have shared a successful collaborative history. Their past work includes the critically acclaimed web series The Family Man 2 and Citadel: Honey Bunny. They are also set to team up again for the upcoming project Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom.

As of now, neither Samantha nor Raj has made any official statement clarifying the nature of their relationship.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, known for her performances in Tamil and Telugu cinema, made her acting debut with Ye Maaya Chesave in 2010.
