Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan to together appear in "King"
The King is coming. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has teased the confirmation of his next action drama, titled "King," which will feature him alongside his actor daughter Suhana Khan. This film will mark Suhana's big-screen debut following her appearance in Zoya Akhtar’s "The Archies."
After months of speculation, Shah Rukh seemingly confirmed "King" as his next project through a video where fans spotted the script on his study table. In the film, Shah Rukh will portray a gangster, with Suhana playing his protégé.
In a new video, Shah Rukh Khan was seen praising acclaimed cinematographer Santosh Sivan, who was recently honored with the prestigious Pierre Angenieux ExcelLens in Cinematography at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. Santosh Sivan had directed Shah Rukh in the 2001 historical drama "Asoka."
While Shah Rukh spoke about the renowned cinematographer, fans of the star noticed something else: the script of "King," which was visible in the frame.
Shah Rukh Khan was previously rumored to have an extended cameo in "King," with Suhana Khan taking the center stage. However, the script was revised to feature Shah Rukh in the lead role. "King" will now be his next full-fledged film following his triumphant comeback with blockbusters like "Pathaan," "Jawan," and "Dunki," which collectively grossed over Rs 2,500 crore globally.
