Sharvari Reflects on Career Milestones and Looks Ahead to New Challenges

Actor Sharvari is celebrating a breakthrough year in her career, with both critical acclaim and commercial success marking her journey. Her recent projects, Munjya, Vedaa, and Maharaj, have not only solidified her position in the industry but also showcased her acting prowess. “This year has been incredible and it’s been a dream come true. I am more grateful for the timing [of this successful period] than anything else,” says the 27-year-old, reflecting on her achievements.

Despite her success, Sharvari remains a relative newcomer to the film industry, which she finds both exhilarating and enriching. “It is exciting because you can experiment a little more. Because you are a young actor, everything has a sense of novelty. People you are working with and even the genres you’re part of feel new. Also, there is so much to learn on set... The passion [of a newcomer] should definitely be preserved,” she shares.

Looking to the future, Sharvari is gearing up for her next big project, Alpha, a film from the popular Spy Universe franchise. She will star alongside Alia Bhatt, a pairing that has generated significant buzz. “The film stems from the Spy Universe franchise, and it is headlined by superstars such as Alia. For me to be the youngest actor is a very big deal. I treat it like a responsibility because there is a lot that rides on my shoulders. So, I just want to deliver,” she expresses.

Currently filming for Alpha, Sharvari recently completed a shooting schedule in Kashmir and has been undergoing intensive training for her role. Speaking about the preparation process, she reveals, “I have been training for a very long time now. In fact, even before the film was announced or given to me, I was given an action-oriented audition. At that time, Adi (Aditya Chopra, producer of Alpha) sir wanted to see if I could pull off the genre and whether I was able to learn. Now, we train every day.”

As Sharvari embraces this new chapter in her career, her dedication and enthusiasm continue to set her apart. With Alpha poised to make waves, the young actor is ready to take on the responsibility and deliver on the high expectations placed upon her.
