Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 14: Amar Kaushik’s Horror Comedy on Track to Cross ₹500 Crore Mark This Weekend

The sequel to the blockbuster horror comedy Stree, directed by Amar Kaushik and starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, continues to dominate the box office. Stree 2 has been steadily setting new benchmarks, and as it completes two weeks in theatres, it has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing the lifetime Hindi language collections of KGF Chapter 2.

On its 14th day, the film saw a dip in its daily earnings, registering ₹9.25 crore on Wednesday, its lowest single-day earnings since its release on August 15. Despite this drop, the total domestic box office collection of Stree 2 has reached an estimated ₹445 crore, overtaking KGF Chapter 2's record of ₹435 crore. This achievement has secured Stree 2 the 6th spot on the list of the highest-grossing Hindi films of all time. Globally, the film crossed the ₹600 crore mark on Tuesday.

While a decline in collections was expected, Stree 2 is poised to enter its third weekend with strong momentum. It is anticipated to cross the ₹500 crore mark domestically by Monday, further cementing its status as a box office juggernaut.

In its third week, Stree 2 will be eyeing several records. It is set to challenge Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal (₹505 crore), SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (₹511 crore), and then Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, which stand at ₹524 crore and ₹525 crore, respectively.

With an open run and no major releases on the horizon, Stree 2 is likely to surpass these records by next weekend, positioning itself as the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. Following that, the film will set its sights on the lifetime record of Jawan, which stands at an impressive ₹584 crore.
