Stree 2 Sets New Benchmark at the Indian Box Office
Stree 2, featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, has achieved remarkable success, surpassing ₹586 crore in collections at the Indian box office. This milestone positions the film as the highest-grossing Hindi film ever in India, exceeding the earnings of Jawan and Pathaan.
In light of this achievement, Yash Raj Films (YRF), the production house behind Pathaan, has publicly congratulated the Stree 2 team. On their social media channels, YRF shared a heartfelt note acknowledging the film’s success, stating, “Heartiest congratulations to Dinesh Vijan, Maddock Films, Jio Studios & the entire cast & team of Stree 2 for the humongous box office success.”
The note further emphasized the significance of this accomplishment, adding, “You have set a new benchmark for everyone to strive for. The last two years have been simply phenomenal for Hindi films and the industry couldn't be happier.”
With a lifetime collection of ₹582.31 crore nett in Hindi, Stree 2 has surpassed the collection of Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan, which stands at ₹524.53 crore. This exceptional performance highlights the film's impact on the Hindi film industry and sets a new standard for future releases.
