Varun Dhawan Reflects on Parenthood and Friendship with Alia Bhatt Amid Film Promotions

Bollywood actors Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, who debuted together in Student Of The Year over a decade ago, have continued to maintain a close friendship despite their divergent career paths. Now, their bond has taken a heartwarming turn as their discussions increasingly focus on their shared experiences as new parents.
In a recent interview, while promoting his upcoming film Baby John, Varun revealed how his conversations with Alia have evolved. "At the moment, the thing me and Alia discuss is babies. That's all we are discussing. We are discussing our babies with each other and what should be done and what happens," he shared.
The actor also mentioned that their daughters, Raha and Lara, have already had a chance to meet. "My daughter Lara has already met Alia's daughter Raha. Lara is still very small, but they have met," Varun said, hinting at the budding friendship between the next generation of their families.
On the possibility of reuniting with Alia for a film, Varun expressed their mutual enthusiasm while emphasizing the importance of finding the right script.
As a new parent, Varun described the experience as transformative. "Being a father to a daughter is a unique experience. It shakes you completely, making you realise how much your thinking changes," he remarked, reflecting on the profound impact fatherhood has had on him.
Meanwhile, Varun is gearing up for the release of Baby John, the Hindi adaptation of Atlee’s 2016 Tamil hit Theri. Directed by A Kaleeswaran and produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande, the film is slated for a December 25 release.
Following this, Varun has an impressive lineup of projects. He will star alongside Sunny Deol in Border 2, followed by the comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with Janhvi Kapoor. Additionally, he is set to feature in No Entry 2, sharing the screen with Arjun Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh.
With a flourishing career and a new chapter as a father, Varun Dhawan continues to strike a balance between his personal and professional life, winning hearts both on and off the screen.
