Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Quell Divorce Rumors with Recent Public Appearance

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, one of Bollywood’s most celebrated couples, have been making headlines due to persistent rumors about their alleged divorce. However, recent photographs of the duo attending an event together have given fans a sense of relief, showcasing their united front amidst speculation.

The couple, who are parents to their 12-year-old daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, have often been in the limelight for their personal lives. Abhishek, during an appearance on Riteish Deshmukh’s chat show Case Toh Banta Hai in 2022, was playfully teased about expanding his family. Riteish remarked, “Amitabh ji, Aishwarya, Aaradhya, aur aap (and you) Abhishek. Yeh saare ‘A’ letter se shuru hote hain (All your names begin with A). Toh Jaya aunty aur Shweta ne aisa kya kar liya (then what wrong have Jaya Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan done)?"

The comment left Abhishek amused. He responded, "This, you'll have to ask them. But I think this has become a tradition in our house. Abhishek, Aaradhya…” before being interrupted by Riteish, who quipped, “Aaradhya ke baad (After Aaradhya?)" Laughing off the suggestion, Abhishek replied, "Nahi abhi agli peedhi jo aayegi tab dekhenge na (Now we'll see after the next generation comes)." Riteish continued the banter, referencing his own family, "Who will wait that much? Like Riteish, Riaan, Rahyl (his two sons), Abhishek, Aaradhya..." to which a blushing Abhishek humorously said, “Umar ka lihaaz kiya karo, Riteish. Main tumse bada hoon (Respect your elders Riteish, I am elder to you)." Riteish concluded the exchange by playfully touching Abhishek’s feet.

The couple, who welcomed Aaradhya in 2011, recently faced heightened speculation about their relationship when they arrived separately at Anant Ambani's wedding. Adding fuel to the rumors was Abhishek’s absence from Aishwarya’s social media post celebrating Aaradhya’s birthday. However, reports clarified that Abhishek was indeed present on the special day, and the couple’s recent joint appearance at a wedding seems to have further dispelled any doubts about their relationship.
