Actor Akshay Kumar, ahead of the much-anticipated release of Kesari Chapter 2, took some time off to spend an evening with his family. His wife, Twinkle Khanna, shared glimpses of their relaxed day on Instagram, offering fans a candid look into their personal moments.

Twinkle, known for her candid and relatable posts, shared a couple of pictures featuring Akshay, herself, and her mother, veteran actress Dimple Kapadia. In one of the images, Akshay was seen playing with their pet in the garden, while Twinkle, dressed in a casual shirt and pyjamas, sat on the ground conversing with her mother. The pictures also beautifully captured the setting sun, adding a serene touch to the moment.

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna tied the knot on January 17, 2001. The couple shares two children—son Aarav and daughter Nitara. Twinkle, who transitioned from acting to writing, recently completed her Master’s degree in Fiction Writing from Goldsmiths, University of London.

On the professional front, Akshay Kumar was last seen in Air Force, which performed well at the box office. He is now gearing up for Kesari Chapter 2, a sequel to his 2019 hit Kesari. The film sees him portraying a lawyer fighting for justice in the aftermath of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre during British rule. Kesari Chapter 2 is scheduled for theatrical release on April 18, 2025.
