Neha Kakkar Faces Backlash for Delayed Melbourne Concert; Beats Production Refutes Allegations

Indian singer Neha Kakkar has found herself at the center of a controversy following her concert at the Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne. The singer, who arrived three hours late for her performance, was met with boos from the audience. Some attendees were heard chanting "go back" as frustration grew over the delay. Following the incident, videos surfaced online, leading to widespread criticism and trolling.

Addressing the backlash, Kakkar defended herself by blaming the event organizers, Beats Production, for mismanagement and non-payment of her dues. She claimed that neither she nor her crew were provided with transportation, food, or accommodation, which allegedly led to the delay.

However, Beats Production has refuted these claims, releasing what they describe as a detailed breakdown of their expenses for the event. The company asserted that they suffered a loss of approximately $529,000 (₹4.52 crore) due to Kakkar's Melbourne and Sydney concerts. According to financial records shared by the organizers, an estimated $300,000 was spent on venue and production costs for the Melbourne show alone. An additional $8,000 was allocated for food and lodging, while $75,000 was spent on air travel for the singer and her team.

Further challenging Kakkar's statements, Beats Production released a video allegedly showing the singer interacting with fans and taking pictures before entering a car arranged by the organizers. Moreover, they claim to have paid a substantial amount to Kakkar for her performances in Melbourne and Sydney, contradicting her assertion that she has not received her dues for the Melbourne concert.

In another twist to the dispute, Beats Production revealed that they have been "barred" from organizing events at the Margaret Court Arena due to Kakkar’s alleged "unprofessionalism." Additionally, they claim that their team has been banned from the Crown Towers hotels in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth due to an incident involving the singer. According to the production company, Kakkar smoked inside a designated non-smoking artist room, which led to further complications. They have urged individuals to verify the claim by contacting Crown Towers Sydney directly.

As the controversy unfolds, both parties continue to present conflicting narratives regarding the Melbourne concert fiasco. Fans and industry insiders now await further developments in the ongoing dispute between Neha Kakkar and Beats Production.
