Triptii Dimri Tops IMDb’s Most Popular Indian Stars of 2024 List

IMDb has unveiled its annual list of the Most Popular Indian Stars of 2024, with breakout actress Triptii Dimri claiming the coveted number one spot. The list ranks actors based on the number of views received on their IMDb profiles throughout the year, and this year’s top 10 includes some of the biggest names in Bollywood, such as Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Alia Bhatt.

Triptii Dimri, who gained widespread recognition with her stellar performance in Animal (2023), has seen an incredible surge in popularity. The actress, known for her roles in Laila Majnu and Qala, solidified her status as a household name with her appearance opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Animal. In 2024, Dimri had three film releases: Bad Newz, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. While the first two films performed decently at the box office, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 became a massive hit.

Ishaan Khatter, who made waves internationally with his role in Netflix’s The Perfect Couple, secured the third spot. He is followed by Bollywood’s King, Shah Rukh Khan, who continues to captivate audiences globally.

The list also highlights other notable stars, including Sobhita Dhulipala, Sharvari, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Samantha, Alia Bhatt, and Prabhas. Alia Bhatt, in particular, has made her mark for the third consecutive year, securing the ninth position.
