Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Soars Past ₹100 Crore Mark in Opening Weekend, Kartik Aaryan Delights Fans with Surprise Theatre Visit

The latest installment in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, starring Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit, has achieved a strong opening at the Indian box office. Released on November 1, the film has garnered positive reviews and performed exceptionally well in its initial days. According to the latest report from Sacnilk.com, the film has surpassed the ₹100 crore mark, collecting ₹104.50 crore within three days of its release.

The film recorded earnings of ₹35.5 crore on its opening day, followed by ₹37 crore on the second day. On day three, despite being a Sunday and typically a high-performance day, the film experienced a slight dip in collections, drawing ₹32 crore as per early estimates. Nonetheless, the film's momentum remains strong with an overall 65.70 percent Hindi occupancy on Sunday.

In a gesture that delighted his fans, Kartik Aaryan surprised audiences on Sunday by visiting the iconic Gaiety Galaxy theatre in Mumbai. “He stood on top of his car holding a 'Housefull' sign as he beamed with a big smile," attracting crowds of fans who eagerly gathered for a chance to interact with the actor. Kartik engaged with fans, taking selfies and sharing the celebratory moment.

Earlier on Sunday, Kartik posted a video on Instagram from his Mumbai residence, capturing his mother’s humorous complaint about her unsuccessful attempts to book tickets online due to all shows being sold out.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, directed by Anees Bazmee, is the third chapter in the highly popular horror-comedy franchise, which began with the 2007 release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa, featuring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in leading roles. The second film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022), starred Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu, and also became a major box office success.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 faces significant competition from Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, an ensemble-cast film that includes Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, and Arjun Kapoor. The rivalry between the two films is intensifying, with each vying for audience attention across theatres.
