BigHit Music will not entertain any sort of defamation of their artists

BigHit Music, the agency representing BTS, recently released a statement on Weverse addressing the heightened efforts to tarnish and slander the artists. They expressed concern over malicious attempts to defame, humiliate, and spread baseless rumors about the group, emphasizing the need for legal action to protect their rights.

The statement from BigHit Music regarding the legal proceedings to safeguard BTS members' rights began with a greeting: "Hello. This is BigHit Music." They highlighted the concerning escalation of organized efforts to tarnish and slander the artists, along with the excessive spread of malicious rumors and groundless information aimed at defaming, humiliating, and ridiculing the group.

The statement further outlined BigHit Music's response to these violations, stating that the company considers such actions a severe infringement on the artists' rights. They emphasized their decisive approach by enlisting another law firm to strengthen their legal measures and highlighted their ongoing efforts to collect evidence of malicious postings through real-time monitoring. Additionally, they reiterated their zero-tolerance policy, affirming their commitment to rigorously pursue the matter without any leniency or settlements. The statement concluded with a gratitude: "Thank you."

BTS, consisting of RM (Kim Namjoon), Jin (Kim Seok-jin), Suga (Min Yoongi), J-Hope (Jung Ho-seok), Jimin (Park Jimin), V (Kim Taehyung), and Jungkook (Jeon Jungkook), debuted as a group in 2013. Presently, all members are fulfilling their mandatory military service in South Korea. Jin was the first member to enlist and is anticipated to complete his service and be discharged in June of this year.
