Reflecting on their journey, Sunny Deol shared, “Our family has been in the limelight since the 1960s, but for many years, despite our efforts, things didn't quite fall into place. Then, my son got married, followed by the release of Gadar 2, and before that, my dad's film came out (Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani). We couldn't believe how blessed we were. And then came Animal... it really nailed it.”

He also offered insight into his relationship with his father, saying, “My dad encourages me to talk to him as a friend. But when I do, he switches to father mode. It's a dynamic we're still figuring out.”

Bobby Deol added a humorous touch, quipping, "The Deols are quite the romantics. 'Hamara dil bharta nahi hai' (Our hearts are never content), as they say."
