Devara Part 1 Sees Drop in Weekday Box Office Collections, Nears ₹200 Crore Mark

Devara Part 1, starring Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan, has experienced a noticeable dip in box office collections on its fifth day, particularly during the weekdays. The film, directed by Koratala Siva, had a strong start but saw a decline as the week progressed. According to a report on Sacnilk.com, the pan-India release has yet to cross the ₹200 crore mark after four days.

Released in five languages—Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada—Devara collected ₹12.09 crore on its first Tuesday. The film initially minted ₹82.5 crore (nett) in India on its opening day, followed by ₹38.2 crore (nett) on day two. By Sunday, the film registered a business of ₹39.9 crore. However, collections dropped on Monday to ₹12.75 crore. With Tuesday's earnings, the total collection stands at ₹185.44 crore (nett).

The film also registered varied occupancy rates across languages on Monday, with 22.55 percent in Telugu, 11.54 percent in Hindi, 19.74 percent in Kannada, and 15.44 percent in Tamil sectors.

This film marks Jr NTR’s first solo release in six years since his appearance in SS Rajamouli's RRR. Jr NTR expressed his gratitude to fans and the film’s team, saying, "The day I had been waiting for is finally here... Overwhelmed by your incredible reactions. To my fans, witnessing your celebrations for Devara makes me so elated. Forever indebted for your love. Glad you're enjoying it as much as I did. I promise to keep entertaining you all."

In Devara, Jr NTR plays dual roles, starring alongside Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Srikanth Meka, Tom Shine Chacko, and Narain. Saif's character, Bhaira, a master wrestler, faces a challenge from Jr NTR's character, shaking up his seemingly invincible world. The film has received mixed reviews since its release.
