Emma Myers Reveals Hopes for Enid’s Storyline in Wednesday Season 3
Netflix’s hit series Wednesday recently wrapped up its second season earlier this month, leaving fans buzzing with speculation about what lies ahead. With a third season already confirmed, actress Emma Myers has shared her vision for how she hopes her character, Enid Sinclair, will evolve in the upcoming chapters.
In an interview with The Direct, Myers admitted that she has two major wishes for season 3—both centered on Enid’s personal journey. The actress revealed she does not want Enid to remain permanently in her werewolf form, and she hopes to see less conflict among the central characters.
The season 2 finale left audiences on edge when Enid transformed into an alpha werewolf to save Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) before mysteriously disappearing. For Myers, the transformation was a natural decision for Enid, who has always put her friendship first.
“I think Enid is just really a selfless person, so I don't think anything really had to convince her,” Myers explained. She added, “So, it's either she stays a human and Wednesday dies or she can sacrifice a bit of her humanity and save her best friend. So, I think it was a no-brainer for her. I'd like to not be stuck as a werewolf forever in Season 3.”
While season 2 leaned heavily into rivalries and personal drama—including Enid’s tension with Agnes (Evie Templeton) and her complicated love triangle with Ajax (Georgie Farmer) and new werewolf Bruno (Georgie B. Taylor)—Myers hopes for a shift in tone moving forward.
“I just hope that none of us are at each other's throats anymore. I hope we can be friends,” she told The Direct.
Enid’s storyline also introduced a new mentor figure in Billie Piper’s Isadora Capri, a werewolf music teacher who quickly became a fan favorite. Myers praised her co-star and expressed a desire for more shared screen time in season 3.
"She's amazing. What a woman. So sweet. She's really good at scolding you as a teacher to the point where, when we were filming, she was getting mad at me. I was like, ‘I’m sorry.’ She's so lovely, and I hope I get to do more with her next season, because she's such a treat to work with and… what a great character," Myers said.
With Enid’s fate unresolved and Wednesday facing new threats from her aunt Ophelia, season 3 appears poised to venture beyond the walls of Nevermore Academy. This expansion could not only explore fresh storylines for Wednesday, Fester, and Thing, but also deepen the mythology of Enid’s werewolf heritage.
