Fossil stops their smartwatch line - No more smartwatch production after Gen-6 declares the company

Fossil, the popular watch brand quits the market of smartwatch production after years of struggle. "We have made the strategic decision to exit the smartwatch business and redirect our resources to core strengths," a spokesperson of the company stated. 

Fossil is an American watch and lifestyle company, creatively rooted in authentic vintage and classic design. They produce bags, wallets and jewelry along with watches. 

Smart tech has become one of the inseparable part of people's lives in todays world. Nowadays everybody looks for a digitalized version of everything. In this smart tech era smartwatches took over the market with a blow on its arrival. Many companies which were earlier confined to only classic and vintage watch production, started their lines in digital watches and one such company is Fossil. 

Fossil's last smartwatch arrived in the market in 2021. After a tough competition the company finally decided to discontinue this line and focus on their specialization, afterall doesn't matter how much smart the world gets but vintage and classic will always be an invincible style game.
