Govinda and Sunita Ahuja Reconcile After Divorce Rumors, Lawyer Confirms

Recent speculation about actor Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, parting ways has been put to rest by their lawyer, Lalit Bindal. Addressing the rumors, Bindal confirmed that while Sunita had indeed filed for divorce six months ago, the couple has since reconciled and are now together.

Speaking to India Today, Bindal, who is also a close friend of the couple, reassured fans about their relationship, stating that their 37-year-long marriage remains strong. He explained that despite initial differences, they have worked through their issues and reunited. The couple even traveled to Nepal to celebrate the New Year, performing a puja at the revered Pashupatinath Mandir. "Everything is fine between them now. Such things happen between couples, but they are going strong and will always be together," Bindal stated.

Dismissing the possibility of separation, he asserted, "Not possible. They will never do this."

Govinda's niece, Arti Singh, also denied the divorce rumors in an interview with News18, calling them baseless. "These are just speculations. Their bond is so strong, and they've built a loving relationship over the years. How can they get divorced? It's completely untrue. People should stop spreading misinformation about their personal lives," she remarked.

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja tied the knot in March 1987 but publicly announced their marriage only after the birth of their daughter, Tina, in 1988. The couple later welcomed their son, Yashvardhan, in 1997.

Despite facing challenges, their relationship remains intact, and they continue to stand by each other.
