Korean actors Ha Ji-won and Ahn Jae-hong, along with show announcer Kim Dae-ho, are currently in India filming a documentary titled Massage Road. Ha Ji-won, renowned for her roles in popular K-dramas such as Secret Garden, Empress Ki, and The King 2 Hearts, has captured the attention of her Indian fans by sharing glimpses of her travels, believed to be in the southern state of Kerala.

Earlier this week, Ha Ji-won posted a photo on Instagram featuring Ahn Jae-hong, known for his performances in Fight for My Way and Be Melodramatic, and Kim Dae-ho, posing alongside a camel at a beach. In a caption for a behind-the-scenes photo of their road trip documentary, she wrote, “Excited, nervous, and touched.”

Although Ha Ji-won hasn’t confirmed her exact location, many of her followers have speculated that she is in Kerala. On Thursday, she shared several more pictures, further fueling the excitement of her fans. In one of the posts, she wrote, “What kind of massage actually in India????”, sparking curiosity about the documentary’s exploration of Indian massage traditions.

In another set of images, Ha Ji-won and her co-stars can be seen dressed in traditional kasavu attire, with Ha wearing an ivory and gold saree, and Kim and Ahn donning mundus, in celebration of the Onam festival. The trio was also photographed interacting with locals by the beach.

Fans have been quick to welcome Ha Ji-won to India, with many expressing their excitement in the comments. "Welcome to India," one fan wrote, while another added, "I can’t believe you’re in India." One particular comment caught attention, saying, “Empress Ki in Saree!!! Oh my heart.”

Massage Road, an MBC production, is a road trip documentary that will take the three stars across various countries, including Thailand, India, Sweden, Finland, and the United States. Over a span of 27 days, they will explore the diverse massage traditions in each of these countries, meeting with massage masters to gain insights into their practices.
