Manushi Chhillar, who had been a vegetarian since childhood, made the decision to start eating meat for her role in "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan"
Manushi Chhillar, who has adhered to a vegetarian diet throughout her life, recently made the transition to a non-vegetarian diet for her role in the upcoming film "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan."
In a recent interview, Bollywood actress Manushi Chhillar revealed her decision to switch from a lifelong vegetarian diet to a non-vegetarian one for her role in the upcoming film "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan." Chhillar shared insights into the reasons behind this dietary change and how it proved beneficial during the film's overseas shoot.
In a conversation with Zoom, Manushi shared, "I've been a vegetarian all my life, and I never imagined I'd eat meat because it was something I had never done before. Then came 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'... I was filming another project when I contracted Covid. I was anxious about losing weight as I needed to gain muscle. My father, a doctor, advised me to incorporate meat into my diet."
Manushi's father played a pivotal role in ensuring she met her protein requirements, carefully monitoring her meals. She shared, "I requested him to prepare dishes that didn't resemble chicken. He would sit with me at the table, ensuring I finished my food."
Detailing how this dietary transition aided her during the filming of "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" in picturesque locales like Jordan, Scotland, and London, she explained, "During our shoot in Scotland, where vegetarian options were scarce, meat became my primary protein source."
