OTT release of Animal kept at halt - Lawsuit on process

The 2023 film 'Animal' by Sandeep Reddy Vanga released during the December month of 2023, and took the box office by blow. 'Animal' was supposed to release on the OTT platform Netflix on January 26th, but the release is temporarily put on hold because of a conflict centering around the intellectual property and the financial aspects of the film.

Cine 1 studios a co producer of the film 'Animal' has filed a case against T-series a major producer of the Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film stating a breach of the profit sharing agreement. 

Cine 1 pleaded the Delhi High Court to pass a stay order on the release of 'Animal' on the OTT platform and has challenged the announcement of the sequel 'Animal Park', whereas T-Series lawyer claimed during the court proceeding that Cine 1 had no financial investment in the movie.

Inspite of the huge success of Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal', it is facing a lot of struggle outside the box office. Now the question is that will the film be able to release online and will it affect the subsequent release of 'Animal Park'?
