Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha Seek Blessings at Varanasi’s Ganga Aarti, Embrace Spiritual Journey with Family
Actor Parineeti Chopra and her husband, politician Raghav Chadha, visited Varanasi on Sunday to seek blessings, marking a memorable spiritual outing. The couple attended the revered Ganga Aarti ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat, accompanied by Raghav's mother and other family members. They immersed themselves in the sacred atmosphere of the event, which, according to sources close to the couple, provided a moment of profound tranquillity.
Parineeti chose a traditional green ethnic outfit for the occasion, while Raghav donned a classic white kurta-pyjama. Sushant Mishra, President of Ganga Seva Nidhi, shared that Parineeti and Raghav, along with their family members, performed the aarti to Maa Ganga and also took time to sit and observe the ceremony. "They were left mesmerised. A large number of fans also gathered at the ghat. Both of them said that they will come again, calling it a wonderful moment of our life,” the statement noted.
In recognition of their visit, the couple received a warm welcome, complete with Angavastram, prasad, and a memento presented by Ganga Seva Nidhi leaders including Sushant Mishra, Indu Shekhar Sharma, Ashish Tiwari, and Hanuman Yadav.
Parineeti and Raghav's recent activities suggest a growing engagement with spiritual practices. Last month, they posted photos and videos on Instagram of Swami Shankaracharya Shri Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati’s visit to their home, with Parineeti expressing how "blessed" she felt by the occasion.
