Rahul Dev Basu takes up a role in a new light

Usually hero like features are not really seen in bengali serials' villains, but Rahul is an exception. After consistently playing villainous roles in several serials, this actor has decided to change things up a bit.

Bengali actor Rahul Dev Basu began his acting career playing the lead role in the serial "Bajlo Tomar Alor Benu". Similar to Shahrukh Khan, he didn't start as a hero but portrayed a negative character, who challenges the protagonist. Rahul has often taken on villainous roles consistently, showcasing his versatility. However, this time, he decided to change his style. 

Rahul Dev Basu has started shooting for the bengali serial "Kar Kache Koi Moner Katha", opposite Manali Dey. He stated, "I play a high-ranking police officer, Arnab, who works for women's empowerment", in the show. This is Rahul's first role in positive light.
