Raid 2 Trailer Out: Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh Gear Up For A Power-Packed Showdown

The much-awaited trailer of Raid 2 has finally been unveiled, creating a buzz among fans with its action-packed and dramatic narrative. The film, starring Ajay Devgn, Vaani Kapoor, and Riteish Deshmukh, promises an intense face-off between good and evil, raising expectations for another gripping chapter in the Raid franchise.

The trailer launch event took place in Mumbai on Tuesday in the presence of the film’s cast and crew. The trailer begins with the grand return of IRS officer Amay Patnaik, played by Ajay Devgn, who is all set to take on a powerful and corrupt politician, portrayed by Riteish Deshmukh.

As the trailer unfolds, it showcases Ajay’s character leading a daring mission against black money and corruption, backed by a determined team ready to take on every obstacle. The action escalates as the battle of power intensifies between Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh, with several thrilling and high-octane moments adding to the drama.

Adding nostalgia for fans, the trailer also revisits moments from Raid (2018), referencing Amay Patnaik’s earlier mission. One of the standout moments in the trailer comes when Ajay’s character declares, “Main poori Mahabharat la raha hun” (I am getting the whole Mahabharat), hinting at his multi-layered strategy to trap his opponent.

The glimpse of Ajay's wife, played by Vaani Kapoor, adds a refreshing emotional element to the gripping storyline, while veteran actor Saurabh Shukla's appearance adds depth and tension to the narrative.

Raid 2 is helmed by acclaimed director Raj Kumar Gupta, known for films like Aamir and No One Killed Jessica. The film is backed by producers Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar under the banners of T-Series and Panorama Studios.

Set against the backdrop of the 1980s, Raid 2 continues the story of an honest income tax officer’s fight against corruption. The first installment, Raid (2018), saw Ajay Devgn in the lead role taking on the corrupt elite in Lucknow.
