Rajinikanth Marks Onam Celebration on Coolie Sets with Dance to Manasilaayo from Vettaiyan

Rajinikanth, the legendary actor, was recently seen celebrating the festival of Onam on the sets of his upcoming film, Coolie. During a light-hearted moment with his crew, the veteran actor showcased his signature charm by grooving to the track Manasilaayo. In a behind-the-scenes (BTS) video shared by Sun Pictures, the superstar is seen enjoying the song along with his team, marking a festive celebration on the film’s sets, which are currently under production.

The crew, including director Lokesh Kanagaraj, watched the Manasilaayo track from Rajinikanth’s next film, Vettaiyan, on their smartphones before breaking into an impromptu dance. Rajinikanth, dressed in traditional attire—wearing a green shirt paired with a white mundu and black sunglasses—led the spontaneous dance with his signature energy. After the dance, Lokesh Kanagaraj and the rest of the crew applauded Rajinikanth for his performance. The production house captioned the video: “Superstar celebrating Onam in style from the sets of #Coolie.”

Fans quickly took to social media to express their admiration for the actor. One fan commented, “Need this energy at 70’s.” Another fan wrote, “Age is just a number. Rajinikanth’s next film, Vettaiyan, directed by T. J. Gnanavel and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah of Lyca Productions, is set to release on October 10. The action-drama will feature a star-studded cast, including Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, and Abhirami in pivotal roles.
