Aamir Khan confirms the speculations surrounding Karan Deol's casting in Lahore 1947

Notably, "Lahore 1947" is produced by Aamir Khan's production house, with Sunny Deol playing the lead role and collaborating with director Rajkumar Santoshi once again.

The film was announced in October last year through an official statement from Aamir Khan's production house, AKP. The statement expressed excitement about their next project, "Lahore, 1947," starring Sunny Deol and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. Aamir Khan mentioned his anticipation to collaborate with the immensely talented Sunny and one of his favorite directors, Raj Santoshi, stating that the journey ahead promises to be enriching. Sunny Deol experienced significant success with "Gadar 2" last year, which raked in a remarkable sum at the box office. During one of the success parties for "Gadar 2," all three Khans were in attendance, with Aamir Khan personally congratulating Sunny Deol for the achievement.
