About the Film

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule is the sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise. The film sees Allu Arjun reprise his role as the iconic gangster Pushpa Raj, who now runs a red sanders smuggling syndicate. Rashmika Mandanna returns as Srivalli, Pushpa's wife, who stands by him against his estranged family, while Fahadh Faasil portrays the vengeful police officer Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.

The first part, Pushpa: The Rise, was a pan-India success, and the sequel expands the story, concluding with a cliffhanger that sets the stage for the next installment, Pushpa 3: The Rampage.

Despite the challenges faced due to the recent controversy involving Allu Arjun's arrest and release following a fan-related incident at the movie's premiere, the film's momentum remains unshaken. With its current trajectory, Pushpa 2 is poised to break further records at the box office.
